Foreign Missions

(WBS) is a method of teaching the Gospel of Christ by using Bible correspondence courses. This method of teaching has proven to be very effective in many nations. World Bible School uses volunteer teachers in Churches throughout the world to reach students where missionaries and Churches have yet to reach.

Last year the East Independence Church of Christ was able to reach over 7,000 new students with the message of Christ. This year that total is expected to reach between 8,000 - 9,000.

In the first quarter of 1997, teachers throughout the United States were teaching over 5 million students world wide. World Bible School is yet another means whereby the message of Christ is reaching the lost throughout the world
